Spectronics Spectroline PC-2200A UV 254NM Eprom Eraser (Data Sheet) (Spectroline 1100A 2200A 3300A User Manual)

Compare to My Spectroline PR-320T

The Chip Trays Inside Dimensions are about 12X16, The only item missing is the adjustable platform part Number I-2200 with the High Density Anti Static Foam, Witch is usually glued to it and usually deteriorated to dust on these.

I Removed the Back Cover this time will not expose my self to UV and Burn My Eyeballs.. this time!

Here is the Wiring Diagram. A Litte bit of dust on the inside.

The 120MM 120V Fan(I will prob Be changing this to a modern quiet AC Infinity)

There are 2 Transformers at 5,000V (5KV) Each.

The Two Quarts 250NM Mercury Vapor UV 8″ X 8″ Grid Lamps Spectronics Part NUmber G750NO2. These are very expensive to replace about 1K Each if they go out the device is scrap. I am Lucky that this unit had new lamps installed before it was shelved. The lamps have a life of about 10,000 Hours so 5-10 Min Each cycle will last many decades unless physically damaged. Anyways, When erasing eproms you want a Pure 254NM UV You don’t want the additional 185NM that degrades the silicon die. The Quarts I believe only lets the 254NM UV Out. That’s why these lamps are so expensive and very efficient at erasing the chips also.

I removed the Front Panel, You need to remove the tray door just 3 screws. to access the Spectroliner AT-120 Timer which is a Robertshaw Controls Co. 45-1465 2350 Series. There may bee room to install a digital timer and SSR but the manual timers are reliable. Only issue I seen was the tra door felt/wool fiber seal could be replaced.
