I once again snagged another Universal Programmer at an unbeatable price, constantly expanding my device programming capabilities. This time, it’s the System General T9200 Universal Chip Programmer with a TSOP48-K9x-OT-500-S4 4 Gang TSOP 48 Adapter.

I located the System General T9200 Control Software with the May 2024 Chip List and wasted no time in installing it. Initially, during the unboxing, my attempts to connect via USB were futile. Quickly switching tactics, I connected via RS232, which not only established a connection but also triggered an automatic update of the programmer firmware. After a swift reboot, the programmer seamlessly connected, aced the self-tests, and identified the adapter. While the DRAM Test proved to be a time-consuming affair, relief came in the form of an option tucked away in the settings to disable it.
I Loaded up a random Device to see the programing Interface. The Programming Interface is Intuitive I will play with this more later on.

These boards, serving combined as socket adapters, feature several ground-off chips, including an unpopulated JTAG connector. Identifying these ground off chips may not be difficult, but it will require time and thorough examination.
