April 2023, In the midst of my Facebook Marketplace scrolling frenzy, my heart skipped a beat as I stumbled upon a rare find: an original Burgertime cocktail cabinet for sale locally. The adrenaline rush was palpable as I frantically clicked on the listing, unable to believe my luck. With bated breath, I quickly scanned through the details, verifying that it was indeed the authentic deal. Without hesitation, I reached out to the seller, eager to make this amazing opportunity mine. Could this really be happening? I thought to myself, excitement coursing through my veins.

The Seller responded later in the day, which felt like an eternity. After finally striking up a conversation, we were able to reach an agreement on purchasing just the cabinet and original controls. Knowing that these types of deals tend to go very quickly, I knew that it was now or never. Despite the late hour of almost midnight a kinda long drive and the minor setback of losing a headlight during the journey, I proceeded with the pickup and successfully retrieved the “Burgertime Cabinet” from the seller’s location about 45 min away.)

Coin Door/Mech and Counter 26,993 Whats that $6,733.25 LOL

After retrieving the “Burgertime” guts and harness from their storage area, I now have a safe place to store all of my Burger Time parts – conveniently in the cabinet. I will need to find the time to bolt them down and permanently fix them to the cabinet. But right now I know where they are at when ready off my shelf.

When I unloaded the Burgertime monitor back in October, I never really paid it much attention. However, as I recently took a closer look. I noticed some unsightly screen burn ohh well!! I examined the K4900 Chassis and noticed that it appeared to be original, with the neck board still sporting its silastic glue intact. This suggested that it had likely never been removed from the tube, which was a promising sign It’s not been hack on over the years.  While I may have a better tube that I can swap out to remedy the screen burn, First I am going to do a full service on the chassis to ensure optimal performance before placing the monitor back into the cabinet or doing a tube swap.

Upon closer examination, I have come to the realization that I am in possession of an untouched virgin K4900 monitor chassis. Noone has hacked on this Chassis so it being unaltered, It Will make it easier to service.

After a few days of searching, I finally located the message from the seller of the Burgertime guts in October. Once I found it, I wasted no time and immediately messaged him. To my delight, he confirmed that the cabinet is indeed the one from which the guts came out. This is excellent news! I Now have an all original Burgertime cocktail.

I’m getting ready to start the reassembly tonight. Specifically, I’ll be starting with the harnesses. Unfortunately, there’s no routing diagram to follow, so I’ll have to figure it out as I go. It’s not the most thrilling task, but I’m up for the challenge.

Need to find out ground strap Routing.

That’s It for the Night..  Ran out of Screws and Clips.
